Thermal Stress Cycle Simulation in Laser Cladding Process of Ni-Based Coating on H13 Steel

In order to improve the work efficiency and save resources in process of laser cladding on H13 steel surface, based COMSOL, by combining computer simulation experiment, a plane continuous heat source model was used simulate analyze temperature stress field. The optimal power scanning speed were obtained. It is found that thermal sampling points increases with increase speed. Because existence solid–liquid phase variation process, there are two peaks maximum cycle curve sample located molten pool, starting ending time each point’s peak value basically same. When point outside because metal at corresponding location not melted, so no obvious curve. With layer depth point, range alternating first then decreases, while duration increases. According pool can be predicted. residual analysis carried out according results field Through actual it consistent experimental results. All verified through experiments.
